Support the Wildlife Conservation and Anti-Trafficking Act of 2019!

The Wildlife Conservation and Anti-Trafficking Act of 2019 [H.R.864] was introduced in January by Congressmen John Garamendi (D-Davis, Fairfield, Yuba City) and Don Young (R-AK). “Poachers, traffickers, and transnational criminal organizations responsible for human rights abuses are driving iconic wildlife to extinction around the world,” said Garamendi.

This bipartisan bill with tackle transnational crime, advance American leadership, provide stronger protection for endangered species and the planet's precious natural resources, while promoting peace and stability.

The Wildlife Conservation and Anti-Trafficking Act of 2019 [H.R.864] will:

  • Strengthen federal enforcement against poachers, traffickers, and the global trade in illegal wildlife and seafood products
  • Engage and incentivize whistleblowers in the fight to bring down global wildlife trafficking rings
  • Provide dedicated funding for wildlife conservation at no expense to American taxpayers
  • Build upon the Eliminate, Neutralize, and Disrupt (END) Wildlife Trafficking Act of 2016
